Lori was one of the founding members of Kehilat Yonatan.
Having been raised in Orlando, Florida, she grew up at the Congregation of Liberal Judaism.
As a teenager, Lori was an active member and officeholder in SEFTY and NFTY.
She initiated The Jewish Student Union at Florida State University in 1979. Following her Aliyah to Israel in 1983, Lori became active in the Reform movement there. She was part of the establishment of Beit Daniel in Tel Aviv, where she was also on the Board of Directors. Lori was the Jewish Agency Aliyah and Community Shlicha (Emissary) and Education Director to Young Judaea in Atlanta, Georgia from 1994-1997 and was Dean of Students at the Alexander Muss High School in Israel from 1998-2001. She is married to Moshe Erlich and has three children.
